How Your Business Can Rack Up Promotional Benefits From a Raffle by Alex Brady

 

A business can derive promotional and customer loyalty/retention benefits by utilizing a raffle in their marketing efforts because by having a raffle where the participants are well informed will create awareness through exposure. People will have a better idea of your company’s purpose and objectives because of what employees tell them while being informed of your raffle. So hopefully participants will want to engage in business with you and continue to do so through the information provided by the raffle host during the recruiting process.

Another way a business can derive promotion and customer loyalty/retention benefits by utilizing a raffle in their marketing efforts could be that a raffle can create community ties. There have been countless events that I have gone to where there has been a 50/50 raffle, and a percentage is going to a charity foundation. If your target market sees your business’s affiliation with these types of organizations and the good that it is causing; people will want to be a part of your business that the positive byproducts it creates.

Another reason why a business would want to utilize a raffle in their marketing efforts is that the rewards or prizes for winning the raffle could involve discounts or incentives for clients. These incentives would make people want to continue to conduct business after the discount was won because they are getting a better deal.

For example, if a company utilizes a monthly raffle for a 20% discount on the customer’s total purchases, then more people will want to buy in to the raffle and continue to do business with that company because of the reward offered. A raffle should also be utilized in marketing efforts because the prizes for winning could be something that would attract the business’s target market or even their niche market depend on how unique they wanted the prizes to be. Based on these prizes the business may be promoting business with a certain age group or other quality.

A business may also derive promotional and customer retention benefits from a raffle because a raffle would provide the entity with a marketable event that can be advertised through social media and though other means promoting the business in the process. The advertisements would hopefully both stimulate customer growth and retention, as well as participation in your raffle.

Overall, the ways that would allow a business to derive the most beneficial results from utilizing a raffle in their marketing efforts are exposure through the promotion of the raffle. The next would be creating the proper prize that would encourage participation and a growth in customers.

Lastly, linking the event to another organization to show what the company is involved in.
