All organizations businesses, and companies need money in order to continue thriving in the economy. Sometimes acquiring that money isn’t always the easiest thing to do especially with non profit organizations.Â A lot of the money that they earn is through selling shirts, jerseys, and even a bake sells. These are all great ways to earn a profit, but raffling raises the bar and increases the money made.
The great thing about raffling is the opportunity of getting more than what you are giving. This motivates many people to buy these raffles tickets in order to have a chance of winning a true prize. Now of course some people may just buy in to be nice and help out the cause, but a vast majority of people will buy it to gain something. Giving the buyer the idea of gaining something better than what they’re paying gives you a great opportunity to make a lot of money.
The prizes of course are the main motive for buying these raffles. The idea of paying five dollars just to have the chance of getting something that cost fifty dollars is what keeps them buying. It’s almost like a gamble but with less money and risk involved in it. The key to making more money, and to keep people buying is to amp up the prizes. If you continue to use the same things over and over people will eventually get used to it and will not want to spend their money on it anymore. Also the prizes must be something relevant to the wants and desires of people. Have prizes that will help the buyer daily, or will be something of great value to them. Also don’t have prizes that are very low priced, because then the buyer doesn’t feel like theyâ€™re getting a deal. You have to keep them wanting the chances of winning more and more each time you sell them.
Now the prizes can range from household appliances to everyday items. The prizes could be something regular like a new ice chest. Don’t have a regular ice chest as your prize, instead get something that is little more high priced and can do more than a regular ice chest. It could also be a new boiling pot for any kind of seafood. The only downfall with these kinds of prizes are that a lot of people already have these items. So in order to spice things up with your sales you could increase the value of the prize, and decrease the amount of prizes. This is an excellent technique for the seller to use. By minimizing the amount of prizes you could motivate the buyer even more so by giving them more of a chance, but some may see it as having no chance at all. Another great thing about it is that the prizes could be a necessity for some homes. Some of them being a washer, dryer, dish washer, or even a new refrigerator. All the prizes don’t have to be something that the buyer may need. It could simply aim more towards something that could be enjoyed by the family such as a trampoline, basketball goal, soccer goal, or a small workout set. Prizes like these will motivate your buyer to keep buying in hopes of winning.
Raffling can be a great way to earn a lot of money with a low risk. By continuously having new prizes you will be motivating the buyer each time. This technique isn’t always thought of and can cause sells to go down in raffling. To keep you from failing continue to look into new prizes before each raffle in order to acquire more money than was spent.
