A business can derive and improve promotional and customer loyalty by including raffles in their marketing efforts because raffles give everyone an equal opportunity to win. Raffles can be a part of the business start-up process, for every ticket purchased, the company has more revenue to work with. The raffles satisfy both the stakeholders and the business, the stakeholders are drawn to the possibility of winning while the business is already gaining financial support. Raffles tickets are very distinctive and exciting way to get people interested in a product, service, or idea. The excitement of actually winning and the customer’s desire to actually win, helps the business with gaining customer loyalty.
An example of a business using raffle tickets in an effective manner is if a family goes to a new restaurant and their first time there, the restaurant is hosting a raffle. The family wins the raffle on their first visit and wins a free meal; this type of excitement and self-trust allows space for repetition. The family may come to this restaurant frequently because they are eager to win again which again benefits both the customer and the business. Due to the fact that raffle tickets give everyone a 50% chance of winning, people are more optimistic about participating in such contests. This can also benefit the business by word of mouth advertising and many-to-many communication, where the family can tell others about their exciting experiences with raffles at the restaurant. Word of mouth is the most reliable source of advertising for customers because the business has no control over the reviews. Raffles tickets can also play the role of a business’s sales promotions and coupons, giving first time customers the chance to try a product or service with a discounted price, this can lead to loyal customers. Even if someone doesn’t necessarily get first place in the raffle, awarding them with minor awards such as 15% or “buy one get on free†discounts will keep customer traffic going because of the fact that no one is actually considered a loser and everyone wins. Allowing such rewards, demonstrates the businesses appreciation for their consumers, later resulting in loyal clientele!
Businesses use raffles and other new and enjoyable ways to get their consumers engaged and to let them know that the business cares. Any business that desires customer loyalty is willing to do things to make their customers feel appreciated and valued, for instance with specials, promotions, coupons, and even raffles. In order to sustain customer loyalty, businesses have to present new and improved ways to keep customers coming and gravitate them to the business’s services and products. Customer’s appreciation from the business is generated when customers are included in events like giveaways with raffles which can help keep customers and bring new customers into the business. Raffles are a great way to get everyone involved, the consumers and the business.
